When you have a lot of things in your mind, crticial things at that, my mind can’t seem to focus. Especially when these things mean a new job, new responsibilities, deadlines and nagging people. Hence, is there any surprise that I was not able to finish my NaNo again this year or at least reach the fifty thousand word quota?

But it still beats last year where I only got around ten thousand that’s for sure. I’m still wondering though. Do I really have a story to tell? Can I even tell a story? Maybe I need to change genres or something?
